Work Hard Play Hard (Photo Album): Sand Fill - This is the first photograph in this 6 piece album. The album contains a compilation of photographs showing Nigerians either hard at work or playing joyfully. This piece shows a worker at a building site who has taking it upon himself to do the sand filling job usually done by machines.

Work Hard Play Hard: Hawkers Assemble! - This piece shows a group of street hawkers comprising of two middle aged women and two children and a baby. What really interests me about this scene is how the woman with the baby commands the children while the other laughs sadistically.

Work Hard Play Hard: Flag Bearer – I took this picture during the general strike in Nigeria last year (2012) caused by inflamed oil prices. The fellow at the center of this piece believed that no one was listening to his Labor Union’s point of view so to get every ones attention, he climbs a streetlight and ties his labor unions flag to it.

Work Hard Play Hard: The Dancers Return - This photograph is another piece that shows Nigerian women dancing in their native attire.

Work Hard Play Hard: The Acrobats - The final picture in this folio is my favorite. It is of two Fulani acrobatic performers in the middle of an a impromptu show.
